Sample testing

Gaming Monitor Sample Testing Checklist Before Mass Production

An approved sample should represent the product that will enter production. A quick visual check is not enough. Brand owners and importers should test the screen, electronics, mechanics, branding, packaging, and accessories against a documented checklist.

Start with the display. Review the panel condition, image uniformity, brightness, color modes, contrast, motion performance, overdrive settings, and adaptive-sync behavior where relevant. Test the resolution and refresh-rate combinations on every listed input.

Next, inspect the product itself. Check the stand assembly, adjustment range, VESA points, rear cover, buttons, ports, cable routing, speakers if included, and on-screen menu. Verify that the firmware, startup image, language options, and printed labels match the approved requirements.

Complete the review with the commercial package. Check the carton artwork, inner protection, manual, warranty card, power cord, cables, adapters, and accessory count. Photograph issues and record agreed changes. A clear sample approval record becomes the most useful reference for production, inspection, and shipment preparation.
